Ms. Regina Au is a Registered Psychotherapist (MBACP) and Registered Art Psychotherapist (HCPC) with extensive clinical experience. Her practice is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and enriched by person-centred and mindfulness-based cognitive approaches. Through the integration of verbal exploration and symbolic expression in art therapy, her works addressing formative relational patterns, unconscious processes that shape identity and attachment. Ms. Au facilitates carefully paced, in-depth therapeutic processes that support lasting internal reorganisation and mature psychological growth.

Trained in the United Kingdom with Master’s degrees in Psychology and Art Therapy, Ms. Au has worked across diverse clinical systems in both the UK and Hong Kong, cultivating substantial cross-cultural expertise. She was appointed Hong Kong’s first school-based art psychotherapist, where she developed specialised interventions for adolescents and families navigating developmental complexity, identity formation, and systemic stress. This work informs her lifespan-oriented clinical perspective and her nuanced understanding of intergenerational patterns.

In parallel with her clinical practice, Ms. Au serves as a part-time lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Education University of Hong Kong. With nearly two decades of continuous professional development, supervision, and academic engagement, she maintains a practice that is both theoretically rigorous and clinically refined.
